What is the status on the removal of the barriers blocking the sidewalk in front of the fire damaged abandoned buildings on the east side of Congress Ave between 9th and 10th streets.

Issue Does Not Require Inspection Close SR. The building has been ordered demolished by the Building Standard Commission and the due date has passed. The case is in litigation with the owner and a demo start date is unknown. The barricades are for pedestrian safety and will be in place for the duration of demolition. New barricades and a covered pedestrian walk way are in the planning stages. -
